Job Summary
We are seeking an Associate Attorney for a Miami Law Firm that specializes in Commercial Litigation. In this role, you will provide legal counsel, perform legal research, draft documents, attend/conduct hearings, depositions and mediations. You will gain experience and have the opportunity to learn from more experienced attorneys. This position is ideal for someone seeking to develop and grow in their law career.
Responsibilities
- Prepare contracts, briefs, motions, and other legal documents
- Conduct legal research
- Prepare for and attend hearings, depositions and mediations
- Provide legal counsel in conjunction with senior associates
- Negotiate on behalf of clients
- Maintain detailed and accurate client records
Qualifications
- 1-5 years of litigation experience: insurance defense or commercial litigation
- Successful completion of a Juris Doctor (J.D. degree) from an accredited law school
- Active member of the Florida Bar
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills
- Ability to collaborate with colleagues to best serve clients
Flexible work from home options available.
Compensation: $100,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
